KIM! BOTH of those are SO GORGEOUS! I knew you could procreate successfully, but knit (or is it crochet? please say it is because i only know how to do that and not the other....) i LOVE making things with my hands that people actually wear and use on a regular basis. this sweater will be so special to your dear girl. how much time did it take you to make it?
hey thanks, girls! took, i'm starting on your hats tonight :) very excited to see how they turn out! mandi, thank you! it is knitting, unfortunately... wish we lived closer so i could teach you how to knit and you could teach me how to crochet 'cause i only know how to do the one as well. i love handmade things as well. love giving them and love receiving them, even the tiniest little things. this sweater was quite an investment. not sure exactly how long it took in hours, but i did it in stages over the last 6 weeks more or less. i'm hoping we can get at least two seasons of wear out of it and then maybe madelyn's daughter could wear it someday...
